Why does TEEF! turn water yellow?

The vitamin in our Protektin42™ formula turns yellow when it comes in contact with water. But don’t worry, there’s no harm in the colour change and the small amount won’t affect the flavour of the water. Your pet shouldn’t notice anything.

NOTE: Keep our powder clear of clothes and other absorbent materials to avoid staining.

My cat doesn't drink much water, can I add TEEF! to food?

For wet or dry food, simply sprinkle TEEF on their food once or twice a day.

For our raw-fed friends, split the water you add to their food 50/50 with TEEF water (a litre/jug dosed with TEEF).

You can also sprinkle TEEF on treats, lickimat spreads, and a wet toothbrush to help them get their daily dose.

There's no wrong way to use TEEF!

Dosage

Simply add a scoop of TEEF! in your pet's water dish. Whatever amount that is per day. If they go through multiple bowls of water, feel free to top it off before all the water is gone. Again, a little goes a long way and, so long as there's some Protektin in their water bowl, the formula will still do its job.

PRO TIP: Multiple cats home? Fill a pitcher of TEEF water (2-3 scoops) and store it in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

Feel free to adjust your dosage as you go. The great news is that you can't overdose your pet. Yes, TEEF! is THAT safe.

Side note: Whenever you introduce something new into your pet’s diet, start with 1/2 scoop for the first few days to allow your pet to adjust to the change.

Use daily for best results

Our dosing is unique because our product does not dose the pet, but rather the bacteria in your dog’s mouth. That’s why not a lot of powder is needed, regardless of your dog’s size. Consistent drinking throughout the day to coat the mouth (and the bacteria in it) is the key to success with TEEF! and what helps it treat the problem below the gumline.
