The Steve’s Real Food Turducken Freeze Dried Raw Nuggets Diet combines turkey, chicken, and duck into a high-protein, low-fat dog food. 

This powerhouse combination of mixed proteins offers wide-ranging nutritional benefits and is highly palatable for picky eaters. It is a BARF formulation consisting of 80% meat/organ/bone, 15% produce, and 5% value-added ingredients such as New Zealand green-lipped mussel, coconut oil, and raw goat milk for complete nutrition without the addition of any synthetic vitamin packs. 

The Turducken Diet is complete and balanced for dogs and cats and is made from vegetarian-fed, free-range poultry.

Source of ingredients

The turkey used comes from a family farm in California. The turkeys roam freely, are given enrichment activities, and are raised on a non-GMO, biologically appropriate diet. 

The chickens come from an eight generation family farm in Washington and Oregon that introduced “No Antibiotics Ever Chicken.” The farm raises free-range chickens and is Non-GMO Project verified. 

The delicious red-meat duck hails from Maple Leaf Farms, providing top-quality White Pekin Duck to America’s finest chefs. The ducks are free to roam in a cage-free environment and are never given growth hormones or antibiotics. They have access to climate-controlled barns to protect them during the cold Indiana winters. When the ducks are harvested, the farm attempts to utilize every part of the animal so nothing goes to waste. The feathers are sent to make pillows and blankets, and the meat gets added to our tasty pet food. 

The produce is sourced from the Pacific Northwest, and the goat milk comes from a family farm in Gaston, Oregon. Steve’s Real Food is committed to working with family farms that share their belief in sustainable farming free from added hormones, antibiotics, and pesticides.

Feeding guide

There are a few factors that will affect the recommended amount to feed your pet, such as age, activity level, and weight goals. The brand uses the bodyweight percentage rule, which estimates feeding amounts based on the weight of your pet. For example, if you have a 50-pound or 23 kg adult Australian Shepherd, then you would want to feed them 2.5% of their body weight, which is 1.25 lb or 567 g (daily).
