The pork diet is complete and balanced for dogs and cats and are made from vegetarian-fed antibiotic-free meats.

The pork used comes from a family farm in Idaho that is USDA-Verified and Certified Sustainable. The hogs are humanely treated and naturally raised. They are fed high-quality western wheat and barley, much of which is grown on the same family farms where the pigs are raised to ensure the best diet possible. The farm never uses preservatives, chemicals, hormones, additives, or added moisture in our fresh pork products. 

The produce is sourced from the Pacific Northwest, and our goat milk comes from a family farm in Gaston, Oregon. Steve’s Real Food is committed to working with family farms that share their belief in sustainable farming free from added hormones, antibiotics, and pesticides.

Feeding guide

There are a few factors that will affect the recommended amount to feed your pet, such as age, activity level, and weight goals. The brand uses the bodyweight percentage rule, which estimates feeding amounts based on the weight of your pet. For example, if you have a 50-pound or 23 kg adult Australian Shepherd, then you would want to feed them 2.5% of their body weight, which is 1.25 lb or 567 g (daily).
