Treat Tips

As with any treat, Peanut butter is only healthy in moderation. Check labels to ensure you avoid peanut butters with xylitol, a sugar substitute that is deadly to dogs, even in small amounts. Too much peanut butter can result in obesity and pancreatitis.

If you dog has other food allergies, check with your vet before giving your dog peanut butter.

Peanut butters without sugar or added salt are best.
