We always tell Latte that she is a lucky dog. Even though she wasn't rescued or abandoned and put up for dog adoption, she wasn't well-taken care of by her breeder and was put up for a quick and cheap sale. It would have been terrible if she ended up in a bad place.

1. Action for Singapore Dogs
Action for Singapore Dogs (ASD) is a no-kill non-profit organization established in 2000 to improve the welfare of stray and abandoned dogs in Singapore. ASD was officially registered with the Registry Of Societies in 2002.
2. Animal Lovers League
Animal Lovers League (ALL) is a registered charity and home to about 700 dogs and cats. Animals under their care include vagrant, abandoned, traumatised, abused and rescued animals. ALL is strictly no-kill.
3. Causes for Animals Singapore
Causes for Animals is a registered animal welfare charity set up to support the needs of local animal welfare in Singapore. They employ programs and policies to promote best practice, ethical, sustainable, and compassionate treatment of animals.
4. Exclusively Mongrels Limited
Exclusively Mongrels Limited is a non-profit organization that believes ‘class’ has nothing to do with breed. It is set up by non-pedigree dog owners who appreciate the uniqueness of their own dogs and recognize that they are something to be proud of - neither inferior nor superior to pedigrees, but equally loving, fun to be with, and valuable in their own right.
They do not have a shelter as they firmly believe that a home environment with regular human interaction and socialisation is a more conducive place for a dog to thrive.

5. HOPE Dog Rescue
HOPE Dog Rescue is a group of volunteer animal lovers who feel strongly that all animals should be treated with love and respect. Despite having full-time jobs or studies, they are determined to help animals who are abused, neglected or abandoned.
HOPE does not manage a physical shelter, depending on the commitment of volunteers and fosterers to help out with rescue work.
6. Noah's Ark Cares
Noah's Ark Cares is the Singapore arm of Noah's Ark Natural Animal Sanctuary (NANAS), located in Malaysia, Johor Bahru. Its mission is to raise animal welfare awareness, educate students in schools, and rescue and rehome animals within Singapore.

7. Purely Adoptions
Purely Adoptions is a registered group that helps to rehome stray animals and family pets and to assist individual rescuers and stray feeders. They don't run a physical shelter but strive to be the most effective adoption page on Facebook.
8. Save our Street Dogs
Save our Street Dogs (SOSD) is a registered society with IPC status, unified by the common passion and conviction to be the voice of homeless strays - to champion their cause and to bring about a positive change in their lives.
Basically, SOSD's mission is to advocate and educate, rescue and rehome, and humanely control the stray population through their sterilisation programme.
9. Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals
The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) has been around in Singapore since the 1800s and is a registered animal welfare charity with IPC status. Their recent move to 50 Sungei Tengah Road is definitely a huge milestone towards a better and bigger environment for rescued and abandoned animals in their care.
SPCA is not a no-kill shelter.
10. Voices for Animals
Voices for Animals is a registered group of animal lovers that strives to give animals a voice to tell their stories. While they are known for rescuing ex-breeding dogs, VFA is involved in rescuing and rehoming all animals (dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters and other domesticated pets) and stray feeding.
11. Mercylight Animal Rescue And Sanctuary Limited
Mercylight started as a group of volunteers feeding strays in the Eastern part of Singapore. Over the years, they have grown as a registered non-profit organisation and charity. Mercylight focuses on stray dogs and has over 100 volunteers, fosterers, feeders and sponsors.
