Frozen Berry Delight
Beat the smoldering heat with this guilt-free frozen dessert. Packed with antioxidants and so easy to make, it will instantly become a family favourite – humans and furkids alike!
The recipe makes 12 paws, 40 little dinosaurs or 2 standard ice cube trays
What you’ll need:
2 cups Greek yogurt, plain low-fat yogurt or milk kefir
50g fresh or frozen blueberries
Steps:
1) Combine the blueberries with yogurt in a food processor or a blender to make a smoothie
2) Pour the smoothie into silicone moulds. Use small moulds or ice cube trays for smaller dogs
3) Cover with an aluminium foil and place in the freezer on a flat surface for at least 6 hours or until the smoothie is frozen solid
4) Remove from the moulds and serve
Wagging tip: Blueberries are loaded with antioxidants and contain plenty of fibre and vitamins.
