Mama has been searching for a shampoo and conditioner that will deeply cleanse my fur, yet maintaining the shine and smooth texture. Thankfully, she was introduced to FuzzYard’s shampoo and conditioner! Since then, it has been her go-to shampoo to shower me!

FuzzYard has a few products in their grooming series:

  • Puppy Shampoo and Conditioner
  • Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner
  • Tea Tree Shampoo and Conditioner
  • Sensitive Shampoo and Conditioner
  • Super Shine Shampoo and Conditioner
  • Express 2 in 1 Shampoo and Conditioner

The series boasts the following positives:

1. pH-balanced for Dogs

The pH of dog’s skin is more neutral than human’s skin. Human skin falls into a more acidic pH range while dog skin falls into a more alkaline pH range.

Using acidic shampoos on your dog may disrupt the skin balance, creating an environment where bacteria and parasites thrive. That would result in dryness or irritation, or cause your dog to smell soon after baths.

Thus, it is important for dog shampoos to be pH-balanced – a pH level similar to that of your dog’s skin.

2. No artificial fragrances or colours

Having artificial fragrances might do your dog more harm than good.

“Fragrance” in an ingredient list means a vague mix of chemicals. They may cause skin problems, allergies, and respiratory distress.

Try to go for shampoos and soaps that use natural scents, such as essential oils. Some essential oils can even double as insect repellents.

Artificial colouring may also cause irritation in sensitive dogs.

3. Sulphate free

Sulphates or sulfates are surfactants that are derived from petroleum or coconut oil. Their job is to cleanse and strip away dirt, oil, and proteins. However, its harsh nature may cause irritation or dryness of the skin or eyes.

If your dog has sensitive or dry skin, avoid sulphates in shampoos. There are milder cleansing alternatives to sulphates.

FuzzYard Super Shine Shampoo and Conditioner

Bailey the Pom reviews FuzzYard Shampoo and Conditioner | Vanillapup

The FuzzYard Super Shine Shampoo and Conditioner is amazing!

Not only does it cleanse my fur thoroughly, it leaves a shine and a sweet scent.

The shampoo has a combination of tangerine and rosemary oils, leaving a citrus scent and glossy shine. Rosemary oil also helps to enhance your dog’s fur growth.

To top it off, use the FuzzYard Super Shine Conditioner. With tangerine oil and cocoa butter, the conditioner moisturises and protects your dog’s skin and coat.

With the use of both products, it will give your dog a smooth and shiny fur coat!

THE VERDICT

Smell: 10 – The smell is refreshing and pleasant!

Ingredients: 10 – No artificial fragrances and colours, perfect.

Price: 8.5 – S$19 for 220g. The price is affordable.
