Ewegurt – Instant Sheep’s Milk Yogurt for Dogs!

Latte wants Ewegurt now | Vanillapup

Ewegurt sheep’s milk yogurt is instant, delicious and nutritious! It can help your dog to relax, improve immunity and digestion, and fight cancer.

Have I ever mentioned that I LOVE milk? I used to ask mama for lactose-free milk every night before I sleep, but she stopped giving it to me when I was on an elimination diet for my skin condition.

I missed it so much but mama never thought about giving it to me again. Although it turned out that my skin condition is solely due to environmental allergies!

Oh, and did you know that “latte” means “milk” in Italian? I was meant to drink milk.

So imagine my delight when the good people at Platinum Pets sent me a pack of Ewegurt – freeze-dried sheep’s milk yogurt, which can be quickly reconstituted with water!

Wait a minute, it’s not like any other milk – it is reddish pink in colour and mama says it smells like dried bonito flakes (I don’t know what that is).

She also says that’s because the milk has beets and sardines as two of its seven ingredients.

Instant and convenient

One thing about regular milk is that it has a short shelf life and requires refrigeration. Ewegurt freeze-dried sheep’s milk yogurt locks in the nutrients and stores for a much longer period at room temperature.

All you need to do is add water and it’s ready for drinking! This also means you can bring it along on adventures like pet-friendly staycations.

We made a simple video showing you how to prepare Ewegurt:

No artificial ingredients

Ewegurt’s ingredients list is 100% natural, great for health, and easy to understand. There’s no artificial colouring, flavouring or preservatives.

Sheep’s milk, sardines, kale, beets, parsley, coconut oil, and unfiltered apple cider vinegar.

The grade A naturally homogenized sheep’s milk came from healthy pastured sheep that don’t feed on growth hormones or artificial feed. The vegetables are organic and sourced from small family farms.

Read about the benefits of each ingredient used, and let your dog slurp up the goodness!

Supports relaxation

Sheep’s milk contains magnesium and vitamin B12, which can help dogs with anxiety, fear, and over-excitement issues, to relax, have a restful sleep, and maintain a positive mood.

Hence, if your dog has thunder phobia, separation anxiety, or is new to your home, give her some calming sheep’s milk!

Improves immunity and digestion

Sheep’s milk, along with the other ingredients, such as beets and parsley, can boost immunity and aid digestion.

Did you know? Sheep’s milk is the closest to a canine mother’s breast milk! It is ideal for puppies and is generally more nutritious than goat’s and cow’s milk.

Fights cancer

When Teddy, Ewegurt founder Jennifer’s Golden Retriever got diagnosed with gastrointestinal lymphoma, she researched extensively on the foods cancer patients should be eating to help him battle cancer cells. That is why all seven ingredients in Ewegurt have cancer-fighting properties.

Even though Teddy didn’t ultimately win the battle, he had energy and was comfortable until his last day. Jennifer is still involved in research surrounding cancer and other diseases.

    Looks delicious to the dog.
We should keep it in the fridge?
Just one spoon of ewegurt and one spoon of water?

It is! There’s no need to keep it in the fridge because it’s freeze-dried. Just rehydrate with the same amount of water. There’s a feeding guide on the packaging – one spoon is good enough for small dogs 🙂
