Let your dog enjoy a power breakfast with these cute little muffin cups! They are nutrient-packed and delicious. You can use any dog-safe vegetables but make sure that they are finely chopped or shredded.

Egg and Veggie Muffin Cups

Makes 12 small muffin cups

What you’ll need:

4 eggs
2 tbsp goat’s milk
1 small sweet potato
1/4 cup broccoli florets
1/4 cup kale or baby spinach
1 small red pepper slice
Grated cheddar or goat’s cheese

Steps:

1.    Grate or shred the sweet potato
2.    Chop all the vegetables into small pieces
3.    Beat the eggs and milk in a mixing bowl
4.    Divide and place the sweet potato and vegetables evenly in a 12 cup muffin pan
5.    Pour the egg mixture into each muffin cup until it is 3/4 full
6.    Top with grated cheddar or goat cheese
7.    Bake in a pre-heated oven at 190°C for 18-20 minutes
8.    Leave to rest for 5 minutes before removing the muffins
9.    Cool and serve

Wagging tip: The muffins can be kept in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
