Woof-a-thon by the Singapore Heart Foundation
Date: 12 April 2015, Sunday
Time: 4pm – 7pm
Venue: Bishan Park, Grand Lawn 1
Not to be proud or anything, but since my arrival, the humans have become happier and also healthier! It’s therefore no surprise when really smart humans, called researchers, found out that owning a pet may bring cardiovascular benefits, such as lower systolic blood pressure, plasma cholesterol (men only) and triglyceride levels. Really smart humans also like to use really difficult words. Pet owners in general have lower cardiovascular risk profile, which could be due to the fact that they have to bring us for long walks and regular swims!
To encourage a healthier lifestyle with your beloved pets, Singapore Heart Foundation has organised a Woof-a-thon in April. Register now for a good cause!
