Mama always jokes that I’m lucky I’m cute. Unfortunately, not all dogs, especially mongrels, are perceived by the humans as fluffy and adorable – making it difficult for them to get adopted. But I believe that all they need is a chance to win your heart through their loyalty, selfless love, and pure goodness. A chance can come in many forms, and one of them is Mongrel 2014: #mongrelsareawesome, an exhibition that celebrates the beauty of mutts through the works of both international and local artists. This is the third exhibition organised by Three Legs Good, a registered charity working to give injured and disabled dogs a second shot in life. Do visit if you can!

Elke Vogelsang – Professional photographer based in Hildesheim, Germany
Lili Chin – Artist, animator, and co-founder of FWAK! Animation. Her recent poster series Dogs of the World, featuring over 200 dog breeds classified by their places of origin, was widely shared online
Ly Yeow – Illustrator, and mural and chalkboard artist
Ernest Goh – Photographer, visual artist, and Creative Director of The Animal Book Co
Siong Chung Hua – Fine Arts student at the LASALLE College of the Arts
